Need someone now?

If you're thinking about hurting yourself, or you're scared for someone on board, please talk to a real person today. It's free and confidential. SeafarerHelp works from any ship, any port, in Filipino.

Privacy, in plain words

  • We never ask for your name, email, phone number, rank, ship or company.
  • We don't store your IP address with anything. To stop spam we use a scrambled version of it that changes every day and is never saved.
  • Your recovery code is kept in a cookie on your phone. Our database only stores a scrambled (hashed) version of it.
  • When a spill's time is up it leaves the wall. We keep it hidden for 7 more days in case someone reports it late, then it's erased for good, with its comments. Deleting a spill yourself erases it immediately.
  • Kabaro is independent. No manning agency, union or employer runs it or can see who wrote what. If sponsors ever support Kabaro, they'll only see anonymous totals (like "most spills this month were about homesickness") — never spills, never anything that points to a person.
  • We use Cloudflare to run the site and check spills for safety. No ad trackers, no tracking cookies.

Terms

By posting you confirm you're sharing your own experience and following the house rules. We can remove any spill or comment that breaks them. Kabaro is peer support, not therapy or medical advice — in an emergency, contact the people listed above or the Master of your vessel.

Something wrong? Use “Report” on any spill or comment, or email hello@kabaro.fun.
