House rules
Three rules keep Kabaro safe for every kabaro.
1.Keep everyone unknown
No names, ranks with ship names, vessels, companies, dates or photos — yours or anyone else's. Don't try to guess who wrote a spill.
2.Answer the feeling
React with kindness. No mocking, no "buti nga sa'yo", no pile-ons. You don't have to fix it — just let them know they're heard.
3.Heavy is okay. Danger isn't.
Hard stories are welcome here. If you're thinking of hurting yourself, please reach a real person now — SeafarerHelp works from any ship.
Not allowed, ever: hate about who someone is, threats, sexual content (anything involving minors is reported to authorities), doxxing or revenge posts, rumours about real people, scams and spam, and anything illegal.
How Kabaro works
No accounts. When you first open Kabaro, your phone gets a secret recovery code (find it in Mine). That code is the only thing that links you to your spills — there's no name, email or phone number anywhere.
Spills leave on their own. You choose how long yours stays on the wall: 24 hours, 7 days, 30 days. You can delete it from Mine any time.
Sticker reactions. Aray!, Yakap, Kapit lang, Saludo, ULOL! (for the funny ones) and more — tap React on any spill.
Comments, kindly. You can comment on any spill and upvote comments you agree with. Same rules: answer the feeling, never the person. Every comment is checked before it shows, your name is a random sea creature that changes on every spill, and whoever wrote a spill can remove comments from it.
A safety check on every spill. An automatic check looks for things like names, phone numbers, ship names, hate or threats. Those wait for a real person to review before going up. Up to 5 spills per day.
Bad signal? Write anyway. Kabaro saves your spill on your phone and sends it when you're back online. Add Kabaro to your home screen to open it like an app.
Made by a Filipino seafarer, for kabaros everywhere.
